Web design and development -
All
the sites/pages I create are NON MS specific which are compatible with
most modern browsers. I DO NOT create pages that work solely in Internet
Explorer or any of it's derivatives. I feel it is unfair to force visitors
to use a browser they may not choose to. The pages I create should appear
and function as closely as possible to the same in ALL the major browsers
such as Mozilla, Seamonkey, and Firefox as well as IE.

With
this in mind I should say up front that I do not support ASP, Frontpage,
VBScript, or any other proprietary format or code. Sure, bells and whistles
are cool and nifty, but if this is the goal, luxury is expensive and I
am probably not the man for the job. Many folks would love to have a simple
page put up on the space their ISP has given them or small site to share
their interests, photos, thoughts and the like but haven't the time or
the knack to create this or simply cannot afford to pay a "professional".
This is where I come in. I do not mind the small jobs and in some cases
costs less than one would waste on an imitation meal at Mickey D's (McDonalds)
or pizza at the local pizza parlor.

I
use some Javascript but otherwise plain html or simple PHP on rare occasion.
Nearly all of my work is suitable for even ver. 4 browsers, however, I
no longer code for text only browsers. I do no work for large companies
or corporations, only the underdog and charity. It's my opinion EVERYONE
ought to have a shot at a web presence regardless of their financial standing
or level of expertise and I charge accordingly. |
