I
see your curiosity has gotten the better of you. Okay a little about me,
than on to more important things.
.
First
I should probably cover is the "Packrat" thing. From a very early age I
was a hoarder, scrounger, and hated throwing anything away. Mom would have
to practically wage war with me when it came time to clean out the mess
I called my room. She used to tell me I reminded her of a Packrat, carrying
anyting off I could to stash in my nest. I have not changed, and even though
I did not like the nickname then but I have grown fond of it over the years.
It fits me, and now that she is gone I am honored to have been given the
nickname by her. After all, Mom was right!
.
Both
my Wife and I are critter lovers, and always seem to have a house full,
despite the energetic, occasionally explosive situations this sometimes
gives rise to. These pages humbly began as a personal home page with pictures
of our critters and my guitars. As fate would have it the guitar section
exploded and eventually became The Guitar Gallery and this now has it's
own home at matsumoku.org. Info on my personal guitars is still here, and
our Critters section has grown considerably since also.
.
I
have
an incurable thing for motorcycles, which I partaially blame on my Dad.
He was also a motorcyle nut and owned/rode nearly ever brand of motorcyle
from old Indians to his last bike which was a Honda SOHC CB750 (which is
how I became interested in them). I own a Sportster and two Honda CB750s,
a chop and soon to be mini-dresser as well as a number of old and newer
dirt bikes and a four-wheeler. I, like my father, do not subscribe to this
"My brand is the best and yours sucks" mentality. I respect anyone willing
to get out there on two wheels (unless of course they're careless or too
stupid to be sensible). I don't have a problem riding with anyone as long
as they know what they are doing and ride sensibly. I have no interest
in sharing the joys of road rash with someone intent on experiencing it.
My bike projects are here, both those I have done for others as well as
those I still have, and probably will have. |
