1972 Gibson SG III

Although it looks like an ebony, it's actually just a very dark walnut stain. It originally had the black plastic covered mini-HBs but because they were sealed in epoxy they could not be dipped to supress feedback. Out they went right along with the original cantankerous striptuners and the infamous "you can't into me" wrapround bridge/stop-tail. In their place are a pair of Duncan SM3 mini HBs, Grover vintage style cast tuners, and an original '70s Leo Quan Badass bridge I had been saving for years. It tuned out to be a real sweet player but never really warmed up to me.
