1981 Hondo H937N deluxe Series ES225D Copy

Still one more ebay guitar. Of all the guitars I own, it has the chunkiest neck. It takes me a good 15 minutes to get used to it before it feels comfortable. Although the body is deeper than a 335 it's not quite that of a 175 and is blocked like a 335. It pretty much laughs at high volume and I have to push it to get any howl out of the body. It is in excellent shape for it's age. The original pickups were nothing to write home about so they moved away and I rented the space to a pair of genuine Gibson Classics which breathed much life into this Hondo "Nugent" box. You can't see it in the picture here but the maple body is littered with birdseyes when viewed at certian angles. I wound up trading it to an ebay friend for the Samick SG since I spent more time playing the Session II than I do this any more.
