1986-89 Epiphone X1000 Neck-Thru

Here's the skinny on this one: 3-piece laminated through-body maple neck with heel-less cutaway (see pics), bound 24 fret Ebonol finger board (don't ask me but it's slick as snot), Steinberger tremelo, and quick release locking "top nut". It has a covered EMG select humbucker at the bridge and I believe older EMG exposed pole single coils (Like Kramer?) at middle and neck. The action on this thing would make any metalhead happy. There are a very few minor dings and a kinda nasty "scratch" through the finish on the side of the headstock (see last pic) but considering it is 12 to 15 years old it is in remarkable shape (I have had a favorite for 15 years and it has little "kisses" all over). Less wear than the average guitar it's age. Neck is straight (see pics). Truss rod has been adjusted and intonation set for 10s. Why am I selling it? I was weaned on 24.75" and can't get used to 25.5" scales (I carry a tape measure with me now). Guess I bought it cuz the neck, absent heel, and access to the upper registers is sweet.
