Rygel
Rygel had a bit of a rough
start in life. It all began when I found a tiny little black kitty hiding
under a storage building on our property. She looked as if she had had
kittens just recently but none were hanging around with her. A couple of
days after we took her in and started bringing her back to health one of
the beagles would not come in from the back yard, barking at the fence.
I looked through one of the cracks and there was this tiny grey thing sitting
on a log crying. I went out to fetch him and he flipped on his back hissing
and swinging. Had to carry him in wrapped in my hat. As soon as he saw
Mommy he was fine.
Becky decided to give
the nut a home, where Apollo the mastiff also lived. Now they are best
buds and Apollo "allows" Rygel to rule the roost. He even commandeered
Apollo's bed. As you can see though, he doesn't mind. Rygel is home! |
