I got Samantha in 92 from a friend of mine that bred Rottweilers.  She defied the reputation that Rotts have about being so mean and dangerous. Sam was the perfect companion while being a lovable sweetheart.  Sam acquired a serious dose of Cancer at Christmas time of 2001. Sam and I fought the demons of cancer and had the large amounts of the cancer removed .

Things went well until February of 03. The cancer returned and was now at a non treatable state. I had to make that terrible decision to save Sam from the eminent pain and suffering. I 'm OK with my decision, knowing that Sam no longer suffers and understands that Dad did the right thing. RIP Samantha, I love you and miss you..
