My Rates -
My
rates are quite simple. I ask for $8.50 an hour, no matter if I am simply
teaching you how to keep your system running well or attempting to recover
data on a dead hard drive. I charge only for the work I do, when I am hands
on working on your system. If utilities are run that take hours this does
not cost. Only the time I am actually working on your system. My rates
are incremented by the half hour (at $4.25 per half hour). It makes no
sense to me to charge an hour when something may only take half this.
.
At
present I prefer to work primarily from my home where I have all the tools,
utiilities, and resources available to me. At times I will work on site,
but will have to ask an additional $2.00 per hour above my flat rate for
the extra time and gas. I reserve the right to choose who I work with and
the right to turn down work if I feel either I am not the best candidate
for the job or it is not in my best interests.
.
It
costs nothing to discuss your needs with me and I will be happy to anwer
your questions, well, to an extent anyway. Believe it or not I have had
individuals pump me in an effort to get free turoring or suppport which
isn't quite fair since I ask for little to begin with. Just enough to keep
my systems up to par and put a few groceries in the 'fridge. I encourage
folks do some homework in regards to my rates. One might suffer sticker
shock if they check what the G e e k S q u a d and other service
shops are asking. Last but not least, if I cannot help it costs you nothing. |
