- My original "eBay About Me" -

My original about me page as it appears below stood for over a year. Well, that is until an Outlook Express using hype-mouthed work-stealing side-talking infomercial flunkie AOL-er caught wind of it. I never realized I could insult someone on so many fronts at one time when I wrote all of this. To avoid any further flame and trouble from that pinhead I took it down and replaced it with a more "politically correct" version. Oh! Does that term ever chafe my buttocks. Politically Correct is for suit-n-ties, not freedom loving free thinking individuals like myself.
.
I've chronicled the whole "Peter Puffie Speaks Out" adventure in it's entirety from start to finish HERE as a bonus chuckle.
.
Here it is in all it's glory:
.
So you wanna know little about "NoBullPlop"....
Or... "Why the sam-heck did you choose NoBullPlop???"
For a long time I went under a different eBay ID, but that seemed to cause me more trouble than it was worth, so I'll let some other poor fool have it. Why NoBullPlop? One word best sums up my attitude and approach towards the eBay experience. Well, to play it save I chose the second best, but you didn't really want me calling myself NoBullS**t now did ya? I mean c'mon, there's always some lily-bunned pink-palmed politically-correct self-righteous college-bred pinheaded yuppie waiting around the corner to scream some kindof mental abuse and sue the pants off of me for ruining their lives. Seriously though, I have little time for BS and prefer to be straightforward and to the point when it comes to bidding or selling on eBay. I know some people like to play games here and the crooks are lurking in the shadows, but do I sound like the type that's gonna put up with games or crooks? Not hardly.
.
I love to ride and I love to rock. I have a serious incurable thing for both motorcycles and guitars. I'm usually cruising the cycle parts and guitars categories, particularly the guitars made by Matsumoku, Terada, and Kasuga during the 1970s and 1980s. Yeah, I know the "Matsumoku" hype thing has well saturated eBay and it has now become as much a buzzword as "rare" and "Ibanez" where Japanese guitars are concerned. It won't shock me a bit if some of these infomercial flunkies start claiming Matsumoku made toasters and kotex too! Someone please tell these jello-brains it's spelled MATSUMOKU, not matsomuko, matsumoto, matsumowho, matsahaha, matsubishi, or anything else. This "rare" thing puts a burr under my saddle too. Let's take a realistic look at "rare" using eBay's search engine and put things in perspective for all these raw meat lovers:
.
At this moment, "rare" yields 362,120 hits, "common" yields 3,662 hits, and "honest" yields 332 hits. Hmmmm.... Is something amiss here? Looking at these numbers it looks more like "rare" is most common, "common" is relatively uncommon, and "honest" is quite rare in comparison. And there you have it! I guess the Webster's Unabridged has it all bassackward. ;-)
.
Okay, enough pokin' fun at the pinheads...
Now for the Serious eBay Stuff...
I should probably make one thing about myself perfectly clear: I have no patience for or time in my life to bullplop around with jokers. I treat eBay transactions the same as I do any other transaction and treat them as the legal and binding contracts that they are. Nuff said here.

About Feedback...
I realize eBay feedback is not necessarily the best indicator of integrity and honesty in regards to eBay transactions, but it's all there is. I take it seriously within reason. There are enough twinkies out there abusing the system for their own benefit. That doesn't mean I should join their retarded little games. If we have completed an eBay transaction I will leave feedback for you if positive. If you are happy with the transaction please do leave positive feedback for me. If there is a problem, the intelligent thing to do is contact me. Simply negging me or extorting me is more likely to make me angry and that's not very smart considering your really don't know who anyone on eBay is in real life. If all is good and you're just too lazy or don't care, let me thank you from the bottom of my backside. If we're both smiling at the end of a transaction and you have left positive feedback for me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If I'm bidding or have won your item be assured...
I cannot stand a deadbeat either. If I am bidding, I HAVE the funds to cover my bid. If anything else, I want the seller to be assured of this and have the $$$ in their possession as quickly as possible. I don't bid often, but when I do, I take what I am doing seriously.
.
Should I win an item, the seller will almost always be contacted immediately. I pay for auctions I win promptly according to the seller's preferences, starting with the quickest method first. It's my hope shipping is treated the same within reason. It's great to be told when an item will go out and see it does just as promised. The tracking number is an excellent way to verify shipment and also helps me spot problems as well as arrange to be home for delivery. Yes, that's a hint. =]
.
It's also nice to have an item arrive adequately packaged so as to make it in one piece. Please keep me abreast of any delays or problem situations. I fully understand that upon occasion things happen and I can be patient if given the oportunity. I am prompt to leave positive feedback, and make every effort to avoid leaving negative feedback.

What you should expect from me if I am selling...
I will do my best to describe the item in detail, INCLUDING faults, imperfections, or defects along with the positive features. Please be responsible and read/look carefully BEFORE you bid. Pictures, as detailed as possible will be included with the description.
.
I will do my best to answer any and all questions as quickly as possible to keep you in the running. If you have a question, by all means, ASK! It's wise to have all your questions answered BEFORE you place a bid. A good customer is an informed customer!
.
As many payment methods as possible (cost permitting) will be accepted. Once payment has been made I will ship on the next available pickup and e-mail the tracking number as soon afterwards as possible to verify shipment. The items will be packaged as securely as possible and marked accordingly. I DO want that item to make it in one piece! It's a big disappointment to finally receive something you have been waiting for only to find it has been damaged by abuse in shipment or poor packaging!
.
I may upon occasion offer a refund less shipping if an item arrives DOA such as a guitar or musical equipment. In transit damage should be reported to the carrier first immediately upon discovery to initiate a claim, and secondly myself as I may be able to expedite the process. If the carrier insists on remitting damages to me I will forward what I receive to the seller in the same form in which the auction was paid for. Again, I am prompt to leave positive feedback, and make every effort to avoid leaving negative feedback.

No deadbeat bidders. This is not a video game. Go play Half Life or something.
Feedback is permanent and I DO NOT want to mar someone's profile unless they are truly deserving, and I have an aversion to the childish "spitting contests" that often result. I have no problem involving outside third parties regarding erroneous, slanderous, mailcious, retaliatory, or otherwise unwarranted negative feedback. I have an impartial third party (legal firm) monitor ALL of my eBay transactions to insure fair and honest transactions for BOTH sides.

BTW, if this page looks all wonked out, almost Fisher Price, you're using IE, and your text size setting is anything other than "smallest" don't whine. I don't use IE. I don't have this problem, my eyes work, and I am not going to let someone else's idea of a browser tell me at what grade level I should be reading. I don't cater to IE users, and don't have any use for this "Best Viewed With IE" garbage. How 'bout this: Best Viewed with your eyes and a working monitor. ;-P
