The Bike's History

.
This is it's first incarnation when I first built it in the winter/spring of 1988. I bought it from an old school biker living in Saint Peters as a rolling chassis for a grand total of $500 (big bucks back then). Long and slender old school chopper. The slender "SpeedSporty" Custom tank was too small.
.
I managed to get my hands on a hammered custom Mustang tank (bigger) for it and Invader front rim at a swap meet. I also put Apes on it to raise the grips making highway riding like sitting in an easy chair. Just grab hold and lean back. Another change was building a 4-into-1 intake and mounting a coughing Kehin to feed the jugs. It idled a little rough but ran fine otherwise.
.
Changes here are back to spoke front 18" and shorter risers as the cops were giving me a bit too much grief. I also had to black the pipes due to the evil demon rust. Hopefully I will have some new pics of the years since this with a much younger me minus the grey hair. ;-)
