Mockup and assembly....
.

.
Here are the beginnings of a new bike. The frame and other parts have been painted and assembly has finally begun. I made a leather bra to hide some of the worst welds that would have required a pound or two of bondo to clean up. The fork tubes, gas tank (one I had hung on to from my first 750 chop 20 years ago) oil tank, and tip of the fender were all painted a black metallic mist and the rest I used plain old Rustoleum Hammered black.

The engine in, and most of the rest of the parts bolted up including my original apes, ancient forward pegs, and a new solo seat. Yet to finish is the electrical/wiring.
