The last few details....
.

.

.
The engine was an inch thick with grease and oil buildup. I actually hauled it out in the driveway to degrease it and this took over an hour with strong degreaser and several stiff bristled brushes.
.
.

.
The rear rim was specked with rust and had years of chain lube caked up on it. This took over an hour too. I figured I'd clean the tires later. The pipes that were on it were actually once mine from my purple chop. They got a good sanding and the run-laden flat black that was on them was replaced with new flat black and baffles installed to provide some back-pressure at higher rpms to avoid valve burn.
