This is how the bike originally looked the first time the new owner rode by the house fresh form purchasing it. Although it did have a certain raw rat-rod appeal he was not opposed to, I knew the bike had a great deal more potential. Essentially it was covered with grease, oil, and had flat black paint sprayed haphazardly with all the components still assembled. There was overspray everywhere. The frame had been converted to rigid using the stock swing arm, but much of the nibs left behind from hacking off tubes had been left behind sticking out (can you say tacky?). Yes, those are steel toothed dirt bike pegs WELDED to the stock footpegs. The owner had changed tanks and in the process cut out two of the support members. Fortunately the CB750 frame is somewhat redundant and this was not likely to have an impact on stability. I had my work cut out for me on this one!
